Speaking of pets, Dyson recently introduced the DC16 Animal version of this vacuum. The "Animal" model features a motorized brushbar that can be  used to pick up pet hair or easily turned off when not needed, thus saving battery power.

This cleaner is a wonderful addition to your household cleaning arsenal. It should be combined with an upright cleaner such as the DC18 Slim which can be used throughout the whole house without time limits.
